Nestled along the serene banks of the St. Lawrence River in Saint-Irenee, Quebec, this restaurant not only promises delectable cuisine but also offers an atmosphere that enchants every visitor.
As a food reviewer for Café Encore, I've had the pleasure of indulging in the culinary delights that Le SAINTI has to offer. With its warm, friendly service and an ambiance that invites relaxation, every meal begins with a welcoming spirit.
Guests rave about the attention to detail in both service and culinary presentation. Customer Lois Maeder describes the experience as "always a pleasure," emphasizing the spectacular river view that enhances each visit. Meanwhile, Anne-Marie Lafrance gives it a resounding endorsement, wishing she could give a score higher than 5/5, citing the "spectacular" food and breathtaking scenery.
The menu at Le SAINTI features a delightful fusion of flavors, where local produce meets inventive techniques. A standout dish is the Bacon with Petoncles, a surprising combination that left customer JL K enamored. The indulgent mousse au chocolat serves as the perfect conclusion to a memorable meal. Each dish is crafted with the freshest ingredients, ensuring that every bite is nothing less than a delight.
For those with dietary restrictions, the staff is exceptionally accommodating. Customer Klara appreciated the extra precautions taken to avoid gluten contamination while delivering stunning dishes such as the charcuterie fondue and perfectly plated scallops with boudin noir. These thoughtful touches reflect a dedication to both culinary excellence and guest care.
The restaurant's commitment to quality goes beyond food; customer experiences shine through in glowing testimonials. From the divine croquette de Maurice to the perfectly executed halibut, every family member seemed to find a new favorite dish, with the kids declaring it home to the "best lemonade in Quebec."
Location is also a key highlight. With expansive glass windows that frame the stunning waterfront view, dining at Le SAINTI feels more like an escape than a meal. Customer Paul Adams describes it as a potential gem in the Charlevoix region, perfect for anyone looking to combine fine food with a picturesque setting.
In conclusion, Le SAINTI stands out not just for its amazing food but for the holistic dining experience it provides. Whether you are a local or a traveler exploring the beauty of Quebec, this restaurant deserves a spot on your must-visit list. Come for the food, stay for the view—and leave with memories that linger long after the last bite.

As usual, very friendly service and excellent food! It's always a pleasure to go to this restaurant. And, the fact that it's right on the river, the view is spectacular.

Excelente surprise. Stop by accident. Everything was delicious. I took Bacon with Petoncles. Others were delicious. And the mousse au chocolat for ending was a pure pleasure. Excellent choices of wines.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to! From the outset, our server was lovely — French isn’t our first language, but she was happy to let us stumble through ordering in French so we could practice. Additionally, my partner has celiac disease, so he can’t eat any gluten. Our server was very alert to that fact, and both she and the kitchen staff were attentive and extra careful, taking precautions to avoid cross-contamination. For example, they baked the octopus in the oven for us instead of searing it on the grill. As for the food, everything we ordered was fantastic. We got the charcuterie fondue, and octopus plates as appetizers, and the scallops boudin noir and steak dishes for our mains. The ingredients were very fresh with delicious and inventive sauces, and the plating was beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Charlevoix — it’s a must try!
